Led by the solid pitching of Cameron Brodeur and Jack Colvin, Warwick PAL defeated Flood Ford 5-3.

Brodeur surrendered only two earned runs in six innings and Colvin picked up the save by striking out two batters and inducing one fly out.

Connor Salzillo had two hits and an rbi for Warwick.

WWHS graduate Logan Dean not only picked up another win, but also had three hits (two singles and one double) in West Warwick’s 15-0 victory over Scituate. Dean scored three times and drove in three runs.

In addition to Dean, WWCM, who had 15 hits in the five inning game, received contributions from Mason Hunt (3/4, three runs and two rbi’s), Jack Proulx (3/3, two walks, three runs and one rbi), Welmer Montilla-Cruz (2/4, four rbi’s), Anthony Burt (2/5, two runs and one rbi), Eian Peacock (1/2, one walk, one HBP, two runs and one rbi) and Michael Gallo (1/3).

The trio of Dean (5 k’s), Montilla-Cruz (3 k’s) and Gallo (2 k’s) combined for ten strikeouts.

After seeing an early 6-0 lead erased by a six run third inning by the Avengers, Slocum Baseball erupted for three runs in the top of the seventh inning and held on to a 10-9 victory over East Greenwich.

Chris Farrelly picked up the win for Slocum by string out two batters in 2 1/3 innings. With the winning run in scoring position, Will Clarke earned a save by striking out a batter to end the game.

Evan Rodger (2/4, two runs scored) lined a timely rbi double in Slocums’s three-run seventh.

Slocum also received multiple hits from Quincy Rome (2/3, three runs scored), Rocco Coseglia (2/4, 1 rbi), Hunter Hornstein (2/4, two runs and 1 rbi), Joe Gaccione (3/4, two runs and one rbi double) and Tom McGee (3/4 with two rbi’s).

East Greenwich, which had ten hits, were led by Walker Klika (three-run double), Alex Tullo (2/2, one run and one walk), Nolan Malafronte (2/3, one run scored) and Ace Schwarzbach (2/3, one run and two rbi’s).

Warwick PAL beat Coventry 10-0 in five innings.

Jack Colvin (pictured right) pitched a complete game, striking out nine and only surrendering one hit.

Austin Wheeler scored twice while controlling the infield on defense and Jonah Lafauci led the way offensively, collecting two hits and driving in four runs.

The Avengers, who were down four runs, came from behind to beat West Warwick, 11-6.

Anthony Mazzeo got the victory for EG, giving up just two earned runs on three hits over six innings. Ayaan Modi finished up with a 1-2-3 seventh.

Nolan Malafronte led the Avenger offensive charge with 3 hits and 3 RBI’s. In addition, Nolan Colucci (2/3, one double and two runs), Alex Tullo (three-run double).

Jack Proulx, Zach Labonte and Chase Dawley each knocked a hit for the Wizards.
